Role Overview:
We are looking for a results-driven Account Manager to join our team, with a strong focus on growing business and strengthening client relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience in digital media sales and/or account management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to identify and capitalise on new commercial opportunities.
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring their advertising campaigns run smoothly, while also proactively seeking ways to drive revenue growth. A strong understanding of digital advertising, performance metrics, and client development is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, acting as their key point of contact.
- Identify growth opportunities within current accounts, upselling and cross-selling relevant Mediadrive services.
- Develop strategies to attract new advertisers and grow overall revenue.
- Work closely with clients to understand their objectives and deliver tailored digital advertising solutions.
- Lead campaign planning and execution, ensuring seamless delivery and performance optimisation.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, creative, and technical, to maximise campaign success.
- Analyse performance data using tools such as Looker Studio and Excel, providing insights and strategic recommendations to clients.
- Develop and refine publisher ad sales strategies, with a strong understanding of display, email, and publisher ad-sales. Experience in expanding/improving publisher advertising opportunities to grow YOY revenue is essential.
- Adapt and create compelling sales materials that support revenue growth and enhance client engagement.
- Keep up to date with trends in digital advertising and the golf industry to maintain a competitive edge.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience in digital advertising or media, ideally in account management, business development, or sales.
- Deep understanding of display advertising, email marketing, and publisher ad-sales, with experience in developing and improving ad monetisation strategies.
- Strong understanding of digital advertising formats (display, high impact, video, programmatic, social).
- Proven ability to create, adapt, and refine sales materials that drive engagement and revenue.
- Proven ability to identify and develop new revenue opportunities within existing accounts.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret campaign performance data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in presenting to clients and stakeholders.
- A proactive, commercially minded approach with a track record of growing accounts.
- Proficiency with platforms such as Looker Studio, Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with ad platforms such as Google Ads, DV360 is a plus.
- An interest in golf and familiarity with golf brands is considered essential - exceptions will be considered.
