Get ready for the best learning experience of your life. You will receive the same orientation training as our full-time engineers, you will be matched with an individual mentor, and you will be committing production code by the end of your first week. In the course of your internship, you will be tasked with one or more mission-critical projects and make meaningful contributions to LiveRamp's success. Also, if our previous interns are any guides, you will have a ton of fun in the process!
Internships are 12 weeks long. Should we want to extend you a full-time offer after you graduate, we ask that you would be willing to consider this at the end of your internship. We are seeking interns interested in full-stack application development and big data back-end engineering.
You’re a customer-focused, data-driven problem solver. You have a strong interest in marketing strategy, digital advertising, and analytics. You’re curious about how data fuels consumer engagement, media planning, and campaign performance. You have a knack for understanding how the online world works and can creatively connect the dots between 3rd party data, consumer behavior, and online ad targeting. You’ll collaborate across teams and develop client-facing skills.
You will:
- Contribute to revenue acceleration for a $100M+ business line
- First and foremost support the Audience Solutions team (daily third-party data (3PD) matching of buyers and sellers)
- Own inbound requests and special projects for the Data Marketplace
- Generate proactive projects/ideas that fuel the teams needs, gaps, and strategy
- Be involved in opportunities with the world’s most sophisticated marketers. Participate in things including, but not limited to: pitch calls, new buyer kick-offs, strategy sessions, sales team trainings, demos, client business reviews.
- Contribute to the broader Data Marketplace team
- Identify/address marketplace friction points through cross-functional teams & projects
- Increase business intelligence capability to support better data-driven decision making
- Support projects related to media buying, audience targeting, and data selling.
- Assist in analyzing 3rd party data (3PD) for advertising effectiveness, audience segmentation, and strategy recommendations.
- Work with internal and external teams to optimize Data Marketplace initiatives
- Conduct research on industry trends and competitive analysis.
- Help craft client presentations, insights, and reports based on 3rd party usage data.
Your team will:
The Audience Solutions team at LiveRamp specializes in helping clients find and leverage the best audience segments for their marketing and advertising campaigns. Their role revolves around enhancing data-driven strategies by providing expert recommendations and access to high-quality third-party data. Work with the most sophisticated data buyers and sellers. You will help refine and scale our existing 3PD strategy, create and market new data buying innovations, and help our commercial sales team better sell and service Data Marketplace products. By leveraging the Audience Solutions team, brands, agencies, and advertisers can ensure they are reaching the right people, with the right message, at the right time—maximizing the effectiveness of their advertising investments.

Bonus Points:
- Past internships at/in ad tech platforms, ad agencies, publisher, paid social media companies or brand marketing.
- Experience with google docs, efficient in excel, computer science, SQL and/or a technical understanding of martech/adtech ecosystem
The approximate annual base compensation range is $25-35 per hour. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geography, as well as internal equity among our team.
