Who You Are
We’re looking for a passionate, driven Product Marketing Manager to help us drive and scale go-to-market efforts for our performance-focused ad marketplace. You will be a part of the global product marketing team, driving initiatives that impact the buy-side customers like demand-side platforms (DSPs), agencies and advertisers. From validating product-market fit to driving adoption among internal and external stakeholders, we expect you to bring a good balance of analytical (market research, adoption KPIs) and creative skills (copywriting, design, communication) to an established ad tech company with a growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an international company with a diverse workforce in over 20+ offices globally.
This is a hybrid position with three days per week in our Berlin and Hamburg offices. Outside these cities, the position can be filled remotely within Germany.
What You Will Do
- Own core product marketing deliverables for a comprehensive go-to-market launch of products or features across different release tiers on the performance marketplace
- Work with the stakeholders including the General Manager, Product Managers and Sales leadership to ensure cross-team alignment of launch activities that are geared towards performance marketers
- Own the creation of all assets required for product messaging and positioning, sales training and product demos, demand generation and product branding
- Assist Product Management in identifying customer segments and validating user stories for product and feature releases. Identify market segments and buying criteria that can inform product or market launches and accelerate demand generation activities
- Own and manage competitive research initiatives, including researching competitors, helping develop competitor battle cards, and maintaining an ongoing competitive intelligence document
- Own content creation for whitepapers, reports, presentations, product releases, emails, videos, and product landing pages on the Verve website
- Work with corporate marketing to define content adoption metrics, and identify thought leadership opportunities
- Research industry trends, follow relevant news and present actionable findings to the marketing and product leadership
- Organize monthly training sessions for sales to ensure market readiness
What You Will Bring
- BA/BS degree and at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in executing product launch plans, with 2 years in product marketing or sales enablement
- Solid understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem. AdTech experience is a plus, whether you have experience on the sell-side, buy-side or other components within an adstack
- Experience in performance marketing or user acquisition with mobile apps is also a plus
- Fluent in English. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for story-telling or articulating technical concepts into solutions or relevant use stories
- Proven track record that includes content creation/writing and market research
- Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on teamwork, ownership, and initiative
- Familiarity with tools used within the product or marketing tech stack, including Hubspot, Figma, Presentation software (Slides or Powerpoint), etc
- Able to work independently with a positive, self-starter attitude
