Job Description
As a Data Strategist in Publicis Communication Data & Analytics Team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, tracking, and analyzing marketing initiatives in order to optimize. Serves as project member on marketing analytics engagements and assumes ownership of all client deliverables. Contributes business development initiatives within the Marketing Analytics offerings.
The Data & Analytics team is responsible for leading all analytic engagements within Publicis Communication. Our role is to design innovative analytic solutions to solve complex business problems. Through analytically derived insights, we often provide our clients with visibility into their business while systematically leading them towards improved business performance.
As part of our team, you will be engaged in a variety of analytical projects with different aspects of the customer real life with brands. To be successful in this role, you will need strong problem solving skills, ability to work independently in a fast-paced entrepreneurial work environment, be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and change. Ability to handle multiple projects and collaborating with your collaborators is essential.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
§ Drive all components of the measurement strategy & planning process
§ Create test and learn strategies and in-market test plans
§ Manage implementation of measurement and test plans, including managing vendors and driving data quality management processes with multiple analytic tools
§ Lead vendors / partners as appropriate and develop coordinate analytics strategy and planning activities across multiple team players
§ Review implementation of analytics tool according to reporting requirements
§ Review & Optimize reporting based on documented objectives and requirements
§ Direct development of analytic presentations and surface key insights and recommendations to optimize marketing effectiveness and efficiency
§ Identify marketing and analytics trends and best practices
§ Generate and develop points of view and thought leadership pieces
§ Support business development activities and client proposals
§ Conceptualization, delivery and quality control of regular reports
Qualifications
§ 2+years of agency (digital), marketing, market research, consulting and/or planning experience
§ Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer sciences, engineering, mathematics, statistics, data science or a related degree program with outstanding academic results
§ Hands-on experience with one of site analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.
§ Knowledge about website tagging design, JavaScript and web technologies but JS coding is not required
§ Strong SQL skills: ability to efficiently extract data from large and complex databases. Additional proficiency in Python, R or VBA and / or visualization software such as Tableau would be a plus, while not necessarily required
§ Familiarity with social CRM tactics (wechat account, mini-program, wechat CRM, etc.)
§ Expert Excel user: ability to understand and build complex spreadsheets
§ Excellent problem solving and comprehension skills as well as strong business sense
§ Excellent communication skills: ability to communicate with people of differing levels of seniority and analytical understanding
§ Fluent in English both spoken and written
