The Role

A talented leader with experience and conviction to inspire teams to deliver the best work of their career. As the senior most client contact your background in media must be solid with a broad understanding of full service marketing and our offering in supporting all areas of this. You set the tone for your team in terms of behaviours and expectations and are ultimately responsible for the relationship with the client.
This role will be in the Film & Consumer Electronics team, with focus clients of Harman Electronics (brands such as JBL), Curzon, Studio Canal and Altitude. The scope of the work is EMEA but the role is based in the UK.
Harman – Harman, a renowned brand in the audio industry, has joined the Havas Entertainment team! HARMAN is a global leader in connected car technology, lifestyle audio innovations, professional audio and lighting solutions, and digital transformation. Brands within the Harman portfolio include JBL, Harman Kardon, AKG and Arcam.
We manage Harman’s EMEA multi-market campaigns, operating across 12 markets, which can be briefed by local, EMEA or Global markets. Our focus is on the strategy, planning and implementation of both upper and lower funnel activity, designed to raise awareness and drive consideration of the brand in-market, flexing according to market stage and local market nuances. Working with the client as a central function across all their campaign launches, means that multiple campaigns can be briefed into the team at any one time.
Film - Our work across our Film clients is focused on driving awareness of the newest theatrical and Home Entertainment film releases in market for clients such as Studiocanal and Altitude, as well as encouraging ticket sales to our exhibitor clients such as Curzon and Picturehouse. Our work is varied from mass-market blockbuster films to art, independent films providing the opportunity to explore different audience types and media solutions for our clients. With each release having a distinct audience and planning considerations, we are looking for someone who has both a passion for film and a strong planning skillset. Within this role, there is the expectation to be able to upskill the rest of the team in their planning capabilities to deliver the best work possible for our clients.

Responsibilities
Client Management:
- Client confidante; debates and supports, tackles challenges as a team
- Set the team expectations from operations through to planning, strategy and data
- Keep clients up to date on industry trends and what this means for their business
- Bring new news to clients; we lead in our expertise, we don’t follow / respond
- Place the client’s needs at the heart of all delivery and build strong, meaningful relationships
- ‘Sell in’ annual plans / large Mx briefs across all channels to senior clients
- To have completed Client Development Plans
- Work seamlessly with all teams to ensure brilliant thinking is turned into brilliant implementation
- Within all annual planning and strategic/planning pieces include a ‘source of growth (SOG)’ using the Analytics Team benchmarks and applying a contribution to conversation from media
- Challenge strategy and ideas to ensure they are remarkable and inspirational for our clients
- Recognise new areas of income via a strong understanding of the services Havas Media Network offers
Commercial:
- Provide timely, accurate billings projections and keep commercial reports and forecasts updated
- Understand specific client needs and work with the wider HMN capabilities to create and develop tailor made services and solutions
- Make new business everybody’s business - act as an agency leader in new business by supporting new business and marketing in all areas including PR, case studies and award entries
- Share responsibility with the rest of the management team for developing new revenue streams
- Supervise / undertake additional projects beyond client responsibilities as requested
Agency Leadership and People Management:
- Work with the rest of the agency management team forming a high performing senior management team that inspires development across all corners of the agency
- Engender an agency culture and an agency belief that allows people to suggest their own thoughts around the service we deliver for our clients
- Instil a culture throughout the agency founded on our common and shared values
- Provide a support framework that allows people to enjoy the work they do, feel supported and recognised with continual communication
- Ensure the agency output is grounded in client needs but also delivers the ambitions of the agency
- Work as a collaborative positive team player across Havas Entertainment, actively supporting each other and sharing learnings
- Ensure the appraisal process is kept to for direct reports, taking ownership of your own skills development with full commitment and attendance to all training and development sessions
- Take a pro-active view to talent management within your team, optimising the development opportunities for others
