About the role …
Reporting directly to the Global Head of AdTech platforms, this role is a player / coach focused on driving partnerships and revenue with AdTech Ecosystem Platforms - SSPs, DSPs, Measurement Solutions, Data Providers. In this role you will be accountable for driving revenue, implementing scalable processes and leading / building a global team consistent with commercial results. You’ll collaborate closely with Customer Success & Solutions Engineering and provide market feedback to the Product team. In this role you will have a unique opportunity to truly further establish Scope3 as the leading solution enabling sustainable digital advertising.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a start- up environment, be an AdTech domain expert and as well as a successful track of achieving commercial results as both an individual contributor and leader, ideally in the context of an emerging product category.

Key responsibilities:
- Establish a robust deal pipeline, drive towards revenue goals for this segment of the Scope3 business.
- Lead, manage, mentor a global business development team – create scalable processes and effectively communicate success metrics
- Personally develop and contract for partnerships that are mutually beneficial and drive revenue and market footholds for Scope3.
- Cultivate senior level relationships with the world’s leading AdTech Platforms
- Work closely with Business Development and Customer Success colleagues on customer execution and monetization
- Understand the dynamics across the ecosystem and help drive a strategic partnership and sales strategy, determining the right approach, solutions and commercial models for different types of publisher partners.
- Collaborate with Scope3’s leadership team to hone our ATP go to market strategy and its execution: iterate the client engagement model, be a conduit between the market and internal teams, collaborate with marketing to develop our messaging and events calendar.
- Be an expert in Scope3’s products. Effectively communicate the company’s mission, value proposition and vision to prospects, customers and partners
- Become an expert on sustainability in ad-tech and evangelize the mission of decarbonizing media and advertising through industry events, blog posts and client events, and more.
- Identify market opportunities consistent with Scope3’s mission that leverage its capabilities and expertise.
Your experience:
- A consistent track record of delivering on strategic business development and/or strategic sales goals - sourcing, closing and managing large, complex partnerships, driving revenue.
- An AdTech / Programmatic ecosystem expert. Intimate knowledge of how the ecosystem functions and how the pieces fit together - understands DSP & SSP platforms and publisher reporting relationships, who re the major players, how they buy and from whom.
- Have an established network as well as credibility as an industry expert. Be a thought leader, leverage opportunities to evangelize Scope3’s point of view.
