Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and driven Creative Director at our office who will be primarily responsible for creating compelling concepts to bring that vision to reality. At GroupM, the Creative Director should be able to balance the expectations of clients with the execution of innovative work.
Role and responsibilities:
- Introduce innovation ideas and concepts, develop pitches and perform campaign creation and implementation including design, visual effects and graphic applications for artistic promos.
- Lead the visual designs and creative strategies for our biggest clients and direct production teams to help bring your ideas to life.
- Concept and plan all editorial photo shoots and oversee product photography.
- Actively communicate with clients to develop an artistic approach and style of work.
- Create, design and optimize content for digital platforms and social media campaigns keeping in mind clients’ recommendations and suggestions.
- Be able to originate and sharpen the visual designs and conceptions in order to propose leading experiences for demanding customers.
- Develop creative plans, conceptual designs and digital strategies as a part of the overall media strategies.
- Brief and coach the junior designers/visualizers on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting mutually agreed deadlines.
- Effectively manage relationships and challenging situations across the organization, facilitate timely communication between different teams and with the clients.
- Keep up to date with emerging social media and digital trends, evaluating the opportunities and helping advise on implementation.
- Articulate recommendations to clients with brand guidelines and design standards.
Skills & Experience:
- Highly creative and imaginative.
- Experience with creating creative concepts for digital and social media, OOH, and On ground activations
- Knowledge and experience with (eg.) InDesign, Photoshop, HTML (5), interface design, Facebook, or mobile apps.
- A passion for social media and innovation.
- Must have strong command of English & Arabic spoken and written abilities.
- Acute observation and an eye for detail.
- The willingness to deal with stress and work well under pressure in order to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to produce and communicate fresh ideas and visual concepts.
