The Role
The role exists within MindshareChannels & Solutions to support a growing team, covering bothSEO, CRO and Search Analysis. As an SEO Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in day-to-dayownershipof client engagements,SEO process and execution on and off page.
The SEOAccount Manager will be required to support the growth of our offering with the help of the Account Managerand Senior Account Executive. The SEO Manager will help to shape the global SEO strategy for a variety of brands across content, technical and outreach.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a creative thinking individual who is passionate about digital marketing, in particular SEO. The person should be keen to learn and have an interest in the developing trends and technologies that impact search. An analytical mind-set coupled with a creativity is a must for this role.
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrated experience in SEO and Owned Asset Optimisation
- Experience in Global content strategy and content gap analysis.
- Competency for technical SEO
- Integration of SEO with Paid digital channels
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Demonstrated career management of SEO executives
- Client relationship skills – including presentation skills
- Effective and efficient working style and communication skills
- Language skills desired but not required
- Competency in Google Analytics and Tag Manager
- Client Servicing – Visible as a key point of contact for clients and ensure they are happy with work delivered.
- Account Management – Effectively managing your own time, and time allocated to junior team members. To complete deliverables in the scope of work to share with the client on time and to a high standard.
- Full Service SEO – Provide detail insights on a full suite of technical and on-page SEO features and their business impact.
- Product Launches – Support our clients during the launch of new innovative technology to ensure that any errors within the site are identified and communicated.
- Analysis – Lead analytical work streams, discovering deep and meaningful insights to help inform content and technical strategies in this highly competitive market.
- Measurement – Ensure performance is benchmarked and measured and push the boundaries of reporting standards.
- Team Support – As a line manager, support the evolution of an Account Executive and the wider team.
- Collaboration – Working closely with the other SEO sub-teams as well as Mindshare analytics, media, and planning teams to deliver consistent and considered work.
- New Business – Assist in growing business with existing clients as well as involvement with new business.

Responsibilities
Delivering client performance
- Full ownership of client and internal relationships as the day-to-day contact for the brand
- Collaboration with strategy and analytics teams to gather insights to deliver against the SEO performance requirements
- Oversee the implementation of the global strategy across multiple markets
- Understand, inform, and implement any SEO developments and algorithm changes
- Create and develop content strategy with the client team(s)
- Lead client calls and internal meetings, provide outstanding levels of client service to all team clients in a proactive manner
- Become a specialist in your client’s vertical sector, e.g.,Ecommerce, FMCG, Automotiveetc.
- Conduct technical and content audits and provide recommendations
Raising our profile
- Playing an active role in team meetings and agency events
- Writing case studies of great work delivered by the team
- Volunteering to assist with new business pitches, and other cross-agency initiatives
- Collaborating with other digital teams within the Mindshare Channels and Solutions department
Driving our process
- Integrate seamlessly with client account teams rather than search as an added service
- Making full use of the technology available, implementing processes and practices that maximize operational efficiencies
- Taking responsibility for junior team members accurately following all aspects of Mindshare process
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement, and providing recommendations
