The team
The Account Management team sits in between our clients and our trading team – it ensures that Crimtan develops strong relationships with clients and supports the trading team deliver the best possible campaign results.
The Role:
As an Account Director, you will assume a role in managing and enhancing client relationships, driving campaign performance, and supporting revenue growth initiatives. You will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of key clients, both agencies and direct clients, ensuring their needs are met from campaign inception to post-campaign reporting. Your role will involve providing strategic insights, addressing ad-hoc requests, and educating clients on programmatic advertising. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the trading team to execute campaigns successfully and optimise performance.
Once client relationships are established, you will proactively support the sales teams in acquiring additional revenues by leveraging campaign performance metrics to secure upweights and contingency budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Execution and Performance:
- Lead and support the trading team by communicating client requirements promptly, including pixel setup, campaign targets, and competitor performance analysis.
- Monitor campaign performance closely to ensure alignment with core KPIs and pacing targets.
- Address client requests efficiently, ranging from administrative tasks to providing insightful campaign reports.
- Proactively manage client expectations and provide education on best practices, campaign strategies, and achievable KPIs.
Strategic Client Partnership:
- Assist clients in developing and implementing their wider display strategy, aiming for innovative approaches and delivering 'client firsts'.
- Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expertise in campaign execution, specific areas such as mobile or brand safety, and broader display strategy.
- Provide proactive and bespoke insights during and after campaigns, demonstrating a deep understanding of clients' products and industry trends.
Client Growth Support:
- Collaborate with the sales team to respond to briefs and participate in client meetings, leveraging your campaign management experience.
- Identify upsell opportunities and promote our solutions to clients, contributing to revenue growth and client satisfaction.

In addition to the above, we are seeking candidates with:
- 7+ years of experience in senior leadership roles within the advertising or digital marketing industry.
- Extensive knowledge of programmatic media and digital advertising technologies, including ad serving platforms, DSPs, and DMPs.
- A track record of success in driving revenue growth, client retention, and market expansion.
