Role Objective
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Account Director for our Paid Social team. The successful candidate will lead a team including Account Managers and Account Executives onshore and offshore, to manage and optimize campaigns for our key clients working across a portfolio of accounts. This role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of paid social media, exceptional client management skills, and the ability to drive strategic campaign success.
About the role
Client Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key retail clients in the clothing and homeware sectors.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Understand clients' business goals and translate them into effective paid social strategies.
Campaign Activation and Planning:
- Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of paid social campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest).
- Oversee the development of media plans, budgets, and timelines to meet client objectives.
- Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and achieve desired KPIs.
Escalation Management:
- Act as the escalation point for any client or campaign issues, resolving them promptly and effectively.
- Implement processes to mitigate risks and ensure smooth campaign execution.
Team Training and Development:
- Mentor and develop the skills of the account management team, providing regular training and performance feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports to support their professional growth.
Leadership:
- Lead the client portfolio for a major retail client, ensuring strategic alignment and exceptional service delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement in campaign performance and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (creative, analytics, etc.) to deliver integrated marketing solutions.
About you
- Proven track record of experience in paid social advertising and managing large-scale campaigns.
- Proven track record of experience in a leadership role, managing teams and direct reports.
- Strong expertise in paid social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.) and tools.
- Excellent client management skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with retail clients, specifically in the clothing and homeware sectors, is a plus.
