THE ROLE
As a Senior Account Manager at Wilderness, you will lead a team, nurturing their growth through effective coaching and attentive listening. Your innovative and consultative approach will not only ensure top-tier client management but also cultivate a culture of excellence within our agency.
Reporting to the Head of Client Services and operating under our Senior Leadership team, you will collaborate closely with various departments to deliver exceptional service, aiming for client satisfaction and expansion.
Your responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day project operations to ensure smooth execution and optimal outcomes. Regular client interactions require you to inject fresh, forward-thinking ideas to enhance communication and drive results, showcasing your confidence and assertiveness.
You will excel in our dynamic environment, adeptly coordinating internal teams and external clients. Your strategic prowess will steer projects towards success, whether managing existing clients or bringing new ones onboard. Your expertise in senior-level discussions, conflict resolution, and team management will be pivotal in our ongoing growth and commitment to excellence.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
- Focusing on experiential, consumer brands & sport clients.
- The day-to-day management of client projects within your team
- Management & pro-active leadership that encourages your team to perform to the best of their ability
- Regular communication and liaison with clients at a senior level
- Social-first idea generation for client projects
- The organisation of client feedback
- Generating accurate reports incorporating finance and budgets
- Organising and setting up project schedules for your team, ensuring completion of all key milestones
- Leading brainstorm sessions internally and externally
- Using your knowledge and skills to push clients, the team and the agency in the most productive direction
- Regular upkeep of WOW/processes for clients
- Supporting on New Business opportunities
- Review all client reports delivered by your team.

- The ability to work as an authoritative figure in a busy team

- Significant experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
- Significant experience in professional client relationship management
- Solid understanding of budgeting and finance
- The ability to plan and strategize at a senior level

- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Effective team management capabilities
