ACCOUNT OVERVIEW
OpenMind was recently awarded the ZEUR assignment for Nestle Europe. With 47 countries, +450 team members, and regular new product launches, the account is looking for a Category SAD to provide Digital Planning for UK category.
OVERVIEW OF ROLE:
The Digital SAD is responsible for creating brilliant, creative, digitally driven, insight-led and accountable communications that deliver business growth for Nestle and lead the industry. It is an incredibly exciting time to join our digital-first business and you will be tackling key strategic challenges of digital and data integration, to power marketing communications that create competitive advantage.
The Digital SAD is a key role within the team and will be the day-to-day client lead who can make this account their own. We are looking for candidates who are dynamic, passionate & brilliant at developing client relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build strong, long-lasting relationships with X category clients by understanding their business objectives, needs, and challenges.
- Become a key stakeholder in your clients’ business. Leading and executing their vision.
- Become the ‘go to’ for senior digital day to day clients. Become their trusted point person.
- Development and ongoing ownership of digital growth plan for Nestle.
- Overall responsibility for the digital outputacross the account - ensure all plans that exit the building are 1st class.
- Development of a roadmap across all digital specialisms (Display/Social).
- Oversee work that is shortlisted for digital industry awards for creativity, content and data.
- Develop strong relationships with key media owners to deliver brilliant partnerships for clients.
- Identify commercial opportunities for us to do things better, that would benefit the client and the business.
- Build supportive and collaborative team culture to help everyone produce work they are proud of.
- Ensure every member of the team have up to date and relevant personal objectives and KPIs.
- Ensure up to date and appropriate training & development plans to grow talent.
- Succession planning throughout team that provides direction and growth.
- Ensure the full team is integrated to ensure trading commitments are delivered.
- Contribute to OpenMind culture in the team – great planners with clear goals, objectives, and development plans.
YOUR KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:
- Excellent leadership capability, both internally within the agency and with senior clients. Experience of leading large teams highly desired
- An analytical and inquisitive mindset and a passion for the industry.
- A detailed understanding of digital planning with experience identifying the role for role for paid, owned, and earned media channels, and their contribution to business outcomes, both brand and performance.
- Extensive digital experience, including across Display and Social specialisms.
- Creative flair to enable campaign ideas to stand out and cut through a cluttered marketplace.
- Excellent communication skills, including leading cross agency teams and communicating effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organisation skills, with the ability to manage a diverse workload and prioritise key work streams.
- A thirst for learning about technology, trends, media, people, brands and the industry.
- An ambition and tenacity to make the ordinary extraordinary.
